In the early stages, our focus was on developing smart solutions for urban infrastructure, with a deep belief that cities could be more efficient, sustainable, and livable. Our initial projects involved implementing IoT systems in energy management, laying the groundwork for what would become our core expertise in Smart Cities. In 2016 we have developed and launched the first low-cost Energy management Solution platform.  The next year that solution deployed to National Bank of Pakistan’s ATMs as Vestibule Management System for smart energy consumption.

As our expertise grew, so did our ambitions in the years 2018 & 19. We Launched and deployed following solutions:

• launched and deployed Data Center Monitoring Solution.
• Recognizing the potential of IoT to revolutionize the way of climate monitoring and agriculture operation we build and deployed our first IoT based network of Agri Solutions and low-cost Air Quality sensing system in Islamabad.
• Keeping in view the flood volatility of Indus River we also deployed the first IoT based Monitoring System at River Indus.
• Around the same time, we ventured into Smart Industries, where we become first company to Launched Industrial IoT Solution Services by testing Narrow Band (NB)-IoT to streamline manufacturing processes, improve safety, and boost productivity.
• During the same time, we also deployed Edible Oil Tank Monitoring Solution – the first of its kind in Pakistan

Our commitment to sustainability led us to explore the intersection of IoT and environmental stewardship. This pursuit gave rise to our Smart Climate technologies, where we integrate IoT solutions to monitor and manage climate conditions, reduce carbon footprints, and promote energy conservation across different environments. During the period of 2020-21 we deployed following solutions:

• Launched the first Air Quality Monitoring Network of Pakistan
• Developed Remote Office Management Application
• Developed Asset and People tracking application in the wake of COVID-19
• Expanded Air Quality Network to Lahore
• Expanded Air Quality Network to Peshawar
• Completed Energy Management System Installation at Karachi Breeze (BRT)

In the years 2022-23, Linked Things Pvt. Ltd has grown from a startup into a trusted partner for businesses in private and public sector. Our portfolio now includes a wide range of IoT solutions, from intelligent city management systems to energy-efficient building technologies, advanced industrial automation, and climate-focused innovations. We have launched and deployed following solutions:

• City wide Air Quality Monitoring Network in Lahore for the World Bank
• Launched Linked Things Low-Code, NO-Code Platform
• Delivered Quetta Safe City Project

Project based Student Training/Internship Program in Summer

Student training programs are pivotal for preparing the next generation of IT professionals, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry needs, and fostering innovation and growth within the sector. They benefit students, companies, and the industry as a whole by ensuring a skilled workforce ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow’s technology landscape. Since 2019 Linked Things is offering Training and Internship program to Karachi Grammar School’s (KGS) Student on annual basis. Averagely 18 to 20 students join annually through Liaising of KGS Student Affair Department to get hands-on experience that complements theoretical knowledge gained in classrooms. This bridge between theory and practice is essential for developing competent professionals for rapidly evolving field where new technologies emerge frequently.
